본인이 어떤 것을 중단할 때는 Quit-끊다 (smoking, job), Stop

 

남이 하는 것을 못하게 할 때는 Prevent, Stop..을 주로...^^

반대로 계속 하다는

Keep or continue

Keep going..계속 움직여~~~

last가 동사로 쓰여서 지속되다라는 의미로도 쓰인다

반면 Persist는 주로 부정적인 일이 지속될때
